Login Test Pages

Test Link Description
1: JavaScript Logins (2) These are simple hard-code names, and passwords. There are two tests ... (a) and (b) ...
2: JavaScript w/ Cookie This is a rule based entry ... (c) ... if you have previously 'passed' this test, then there should be a logout button below ... this will clear the 'named' cookie ... so you can try again ... ;=))

None of these JavaScript forms have any real security ... the password is 'shown' as text, not the usual 'big dots', or asterisks ... the source is available for viewing ... it only stops the casual surfer ... Anyone who is determined to see the pages will be able to ... of course, they need to know, or 'discover' this subdirectory, prods ... No entry protection exist on each of the 'view' pages ... but it all works ok ... depends on your security needs ...

If only the date is shown, then you have not yet 'passed' test 2 ...

Advisory: In a system with a script monitor, like XP, you may have to 'enable active content', by clicking on the top warning bar in the body of the Microsoft Internet Explorer window, and, or, click Ok, on a 'warning dialog' thrown up ... this is normal, and expected, if a system has good security in place ... the cookie scripts here do nothing more than try to 'remember' whether it is your first login test, or you have previously logged in ... all can be cleared by deleting all cookies ;=))

HAVE FUN!
